The following actions will never result in blocking members: 

• Writing disliked articles

• Voting on any missions/tales based primarily on your opinion of its quality or merits. 

• Respectful disagreement with any decisions made on the site

 

These actions can result in a permanent banishment: 

• Vandalism

• Trolling

• Sockpuppetry

• Harassment

• Plagiarism

• Other forms of severe misconduct

 

Basic Behavior Rules

• Golden Rule: Kindness is Key. 

• Arguments: All arguments on the site are allowed, so long as they are conducted in a calm, mature, and civilized manner

• Comments: Comments are also allowed anywhere on the site, as long as they are respectful. Trolling and personal attacks will result in disciplinary action.

 

Hub Activity

• No Spam(contentless or excessively short posts)

• Don’t bump threads for attention

• Don’t post on threads more than a few months old if you’re not providing substantially to the conversation

• Avoid double posting. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the post then click “Edit” to adjust your post. 

• Do not make hub game threads without mod approval

 

Posting Missions/LRs/SRs/Tales

Do not post a large number of low quality content. When someone tells you to slow down or stop, listen. 

• Plagiarism: You may not copy any portion of someone else’s work and use it as your own without proper attribution. You may not attempt to pass off another person’s work as your own. Doing so will result in deletion of the work. 

• Using content from other works is generally allowed, as long as both you and the other person agree to it and that there is no blatant or malicious attempt to make people believe it is your own work. Your work should be unique in style and technique. Read the Use Policies for more information.

• Using pictures: Adding a picture to your work must comply with the rules of our Use Policies. You must include the source of your images in the Ownership Hub and this source must comply with our site policy and license. 

• Editing: 

• Responding to edits of your work: You are always allowed to edit your work at will. 

• Editing others’ articles: You are allowed to correct grammar, and spelling errors on other people’s work. 

Other things that can get you in trouble: 

• Behavior that is similar to trolling: Any action seen as similar to trolling, will result in disciplinary action

• Raiding another site: Do not use the site to organize disruption of the normal operation of another site. If someone else does this, do not get involved. 

• Igniting trouble: This would mean showing a consistent pattern of displaying unacceptable behavior. Patterns such as these that are determined to be harmful to the site or community will not be tolerated. 

 

Disciplinary Actions

These are the normal steps of disciplinary action: 

• Warning

• Membership Deletion

• Short Ban(from a week long to a month long)

• Long Ban(month long to year-long)

• Permanent Ban

 

If noncompliance to warnings is shown, you will be revoked or banned. 

Additional violations result in longer bans, with especially severe violations leading to more severe penalties, including being permanently banned immediately. 

 

After your ban has been served, you will need to rejoin the website, using the same method all new members follow.
